Biographical sketch: Marco Squassina was born in 1974. He is married with two daughters, born in 2004 and in 2007 respectively. In 1997 he received the Laurea degree in Mathematics from the Catholic University. In 2002 he received the Ph.D degree in pure Mathematics from the University of Milano. From 2002 until the middle of 2006 he was a Post-Doc fellow at the departments of Mathematics of the Politecnico di Milano (with a three years position provided by the Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica "Francesco Severi") and of the University of Milano Bicocca. Since October 2006 he is assistant professor at the University of Verona, at the department of Computer Science. He is confirmed in this position since October 2009. He is the author of about sixty research papers in international journals. Currently, he is in the Editorial Board of seven international journals [PAPERS].
